We have a Bullying Prevention Program Plan at KBK-8 Center. It is our goal to maintain a safe and peaceful climate in our school. We follow District guidelines regarding preventing and addressing bullying behaviors. Our program includes District-mandated lessons that cover bullying and cyberbullying prevention, conflict resolution, celebration of differences, assertiveness and other related topics. We also conduct peace assemblies twice a year and other student trainings to promote responsible behaviors and respect. School personnel follow procedures to address and report incidents, administrators provide pertinent corrective strategies and counselors provide counseling to all students involve in incidents. We collect information from the students and use data to promote a safe school environment.
